Put simply – if you have between 2 and 18 people on board then (almost) anything goes!

- Click on the Book Now / View Prices Button (Our booking platform will open)
- Make your selections

But of course, you would like to book over the phone or if you have any questions, feel free to call us on 0468 44 55 22 – or email firstname.lastname@example.org We are only too happy to help.
To book a boat, a 30% deposit is required to secure your reservation. This deposit serves two purposes: it confirms the booking for you and ensures that the boat is not booked by anyone else during your desired dates. While the deposit amount is usually fixed, we may be able to accommodate special circumstances or arrange a payment plan. We encourage you to speak with our Cruise Team if you require any special arrangements.
Upon booking, terms and conditions will be provided for each charter, which may vary depending on the specifics of the booking.
A bond is payable on all charters. The bond amount varies dependent on the type of event. The amount of bond is noted on each charter.
Typically, the refund of your bond is processed quickly, provided that none of the bond conditions have been violated. However, it may take up to 14 days for the refund to be returned.
The final payment is due 21 days prior to your cruise. We’ll send you a timely email reminder when it is getting close to being due.
All commercial boats are licensed by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) and each licence stipulates how many passengers and crew each vessel can carry and in what type of waters they can be carried. Once that number is reached, we cannot under any circumstances take more – And on some occasions, we may decide to take less passengers (due to weather, cruise type etc). Contact us if you have any questions around passenger numbers.
Yes you can……The boat is safe for children but of course, there are risks that you need to be mindful of and be responsible for the care and supervision of your children.
Importantly – we have limited children’s life jackets available, and you may need to bring your own if we can’t provide sufficient sizes or quantities. Please check upon booking with our crew for confirmation of children’s jackets.
Because boarding takes place at either a commercial jetty or a public jetty, we are restricted in the amount of time we can be tied up at these facilities.
As a rule, access can be made available 20 – 30 minutes prior to departure. If you need to load food, drinks etc. earlier, please make contact and we’ll try to arrange for earlier access for the purpose of loading goods.
Our preferred and recommended boarding location is the Commercial Refuelling Jetty at the outer harbour off Casuarina Drive. See our map here
This site offers ample parking and importantly, safe and convenient boarding.
There are other potential boarding and drop-off locations however these can be unusable if tides are too low, or on occasion, if too high. Contact us if you would like to discuss alternate boarding locations.
To avoid latecomers, it is a good idea to tell your guests to arrive at least 15-30 minutes before your departure time. E.G. If you have your charter booked for 3pm, tell your guests to arrive by 2:45 at the latest.
Since boats are typically associated with relaxation and leisure activities such as dancing and swimming, it is best to wear easy slip-on, non-marking and flat shoes for your comfort. It is not recommended to wear high heels on board. If guests insist on wearing high heels, they will be asked to remove their shoes while boarding and disembarking to ensure their safety.
Accessibility for Wheelchairs. Regrettably, our facility does not currently have provisions to accommodate wheelchair access. All our guests must possess the ability to step up, step across, or step down while boarding and alighting. If you have apprehensions about managing a few steps during boarding through our compact yet stable step ladders, we welcome you to reach out to us to explore possible solutions.
Although our vessel will be safely moored and brought as close as possible to the boarding docks, guests will need to navigate a small space between the boat and the dock. Rest assured, our crew members will be readily available to offer assistance. Should you need further details concerning the boarding process, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
Sea Sickness. We are committed to maintaining stability throughout your journey and will steer clear of excessively turbulent waters. However, the inherent characteristics of sea travel, including the mild undulating movement, can occasionally cause discomfort for some.
If you’re susceptible to sea sickness, we suggest that you consider taking an anti-motion sickness tablet like Quell, or a similar product, approximately an hour before boarding. This can significantly help in ensuring a comfortable cruising experience.
*Please consult your pharmacist or doctor before taking any medication.
Once Onboard FAQ's
Although we are knowledgeable about the best locations and take winds into consideration, there is no predetermined route that we must follow. If you plan to stay within the sheltered waters of Bunbury, you can consult our Local Waters guide for suggestions.
Alternatively, you can rely on our experienced crew to determine the best locations to visit based on the time of day and the nature of your charter. We will ensure that you are taken to the most appropriate destinations to make the most of your time on the water.
In short, smoking is not permitted anywhere on board for reasons of passenger comfort, fire prevention, and environmental concerns. This includes vaping.
However, depending on the type and duration of your charter, we may be able to offer a mid-cruise disembarkation option to allow smokers to take a break and indulge their habit. We strive to provide all of our guests with the best possible experience, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs within the boundaries of safety and environmental responsibility.
Yes – there is a flushable toilet on-board… BUT it is very much UNLIKE your toilet at home.
And we ask that if you need to … ahem… do number 2’s that you go before getting on-board due to the real risk of passengers overusing toilet paper and causing a tank blockage and subsequent backwash & overflow… We perhaps don’t need to explain how unpleasant that would be for all on board!
A briefing about toilet do’s and don’ts will be provided before departure.
Once your skipper gives you the OK, then you bet! You can jump off the lower level of the boat and swim once we are securely anchored and the crew gives you the all clear.
Swimming is at your own risk and we ask that you adhere to all of the crew’s directions. We can provide floating noodles and other devices that can assist with floatation to make your swim experience more comfortable. See ‘Extras’ when booking
Oh – Please don’t forget your towels, sunscreen, change of clothes etc.

Our local waters offer the advantage of being able to find a sheltered location to avoid the wind almost all of the time. Additionally, when cruising up a river, there is usually little wind. In terms of rain, the Obsession 1 boat has a spacious undercover deck with roll-down blinds to protect you. As a result, we rarely have to cancel cruises due to inclement weather. However, if the skipper determines that it is unsafe to cruise due to severe weather conditions, your cruise may be cancelled or rescheduled. Our crew will keep in touch with you in the days leading up to your scheduled cruise to discuss any necessary changes.
Yes and yes! Obsession 1 has a Bluetooth sound system with 6 speakers and subwoofer. Note that any music needs to be played through the boat’s on-board i-pad or phone so that the skipper and crew can control music volumes when announcements need to be made – But don’t worry – we won’t make a habit of stopping the party from being in full swing!
You can supply us with your playlist, or tell us the genre of music you’d like and we’ll play the right mix… We understand how important the right music is, so if you need a change in music tempo, just ask your crew.
You don’t need to worry about disposing of your rubbish on board as the crew will take care of it for you. You will find bins for general waste as well as a designated area for recyclables. It is important to note that no rubbish should be thrown overboard under any circumstances.
Our vessel is not licenced for Bare boat hire – You book a boat, you also book our friendly and qualified skippers and crew.
